Your agent
Four fields establish your agent’s identity:- Agent name — the name callers hear. Pick something you’d be happy for your agent to introduce itself as.
- Your business name — your agent says this when it answers.
- Agent description — a short note so you can tell your agents apart in lists and pickers. Only you see this; callers never do.
- Line of business — choose the closest match. It helps tune your agent to the way your customers talk.
How your agent speaks
- How it should come across — describe the tone to use and anything to avoid, like “friendly and brief, and never promise a price”.
- Greeting — exactly what callers hear when your agent answers, shown just as they’ll hear it.
- How much your agent says — Short (about 60 words), Normal (about 150), Detailed (about 300), or a custom number. Shorter answers feel more natural on the phone.
Languages and time
- Languages — English is always included; add any other language your agent should understand and speak, and only the ones you really need.
- Your time zone — used whenever your agent talks about dates and times, like “we can come Tuesday morning”.
